The masterplan unfolds majestically between two key nodes: on one side, the event plaza, and at the other end, the gathering plaza. These two open-air spaces are connected by small-scale alleyways that introduce a more human dimension, providing opportunities for shops to showcase their products while strengthening the connection with the outdoor environment.
This is an Open Street Retail project, where the central idea revolves around creating places and corners for social interaction, all crowned by a roof that reflects the unique character of this part of Wuhan. Its design draws inspiration from the local university’s colors, the distinctive flowing forms of origami, and other well-known artistic expressions from the region.
